Your Elopement Adventure, Your Story, Documented
I'm an adventurous elopement storyteller, using my camera to capture the raw beauty of landscapes and the unforgettable emotions of your elopement.
“Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second.”
– Marc Riboud
I grew up in California and moved to Europe as a young girl to work in the fashion industry. After returning to the U.S., I joined an outdoor club and became a hike leader and Outdoor Adventure organizer in 2003.
As the founder of Embrace Adventure, I am both your photographer and guide. My passion for photography emerged from my love of hiking and nature. In 2017, I photographed my first elopement after a couple asked me to plan their wedding in a natural setting. I organized their ceremony in the San Diego countryside and fell in love with the experience. Since then, I’ve combined my love for nature and photography, capturing couples in stunning outdoor locations—my happy place.
I come from a time when the Sierra Club, founded by John Muir in 1892, was well-known. I took Wilderness training courses through the Sierra Club, where I learned the principles of Leave No Trace, which emphasize respecting nature and leaving it as you found it. These principles are deeply important to me, and I ensure they are followed in all the work I do.
‘Climb the mountains and get their good tidings.’ – John Muir
